Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup

What You Need to Know Before Scheduling

The Testing Centers at Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup maintain a secure, standardized testing environment and require test takers to adhere to the following when testing:

  • For proctored exams, a picture ID is required. No exceptions will be made. Some exams require specific forms of government-issued ID.
  • Payment for tests that require fees must be paid to cashiering prior to starting the assessment. Exam fees are non-refundable.
  • Students and community members are prohibited from bringing anything (cell phones, purses, bags, coats, hats, books, food, beverages, etc.) into the Testing Center. We provide lockers for students to secure personal belongings outside the Testing Center.
  • Children are not allowed in the Testing Center.

Please arrive at the Testing Center with sufficient time to complete your test before the center closes.

Exams Offered at the Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup Testing Centers

Pierce College Faculty Make-Up Exams

  1. Please work with your faculty for approval and due date.
  2. Use the contact information on this page to schedule your exam.
  3. Provide us with your full name, student ID, and instructor.
  4. Your faculty will complete the faculty make-up exam form and provide us with the materials and testing instructions.

Credit by Examination

Students should contact the department from which they are seeking credits for examination information. Further information and application forms are available through the administrative assistants in the Deans of Instruction offices.

Proctored From Other Colleges or Universities

Note: Proctored testing is only available at the Fort Steilacoom Testing Center.

  1. Please work with your faculty for approval and due date.

  3. Provide your full name, student ID and instructor name with college/university contact information.
  4. Your faculty will provide us with the materials and testing instructions.
