Tribal Emergency Management Certificate (T-EM)

During crises and disasters, tribal emergency management professionals coordinate the protection of life and property while ensuring preservation of tribal culture and heritage.

The Tribal Emergency Management Certificate (T-EM) is specifically designed for tribal emergency management professionals. Graduates of this online nine-month, 9-course program are prepared to lead emergency management activities for their tribe and its neighboring communities. The program is instructed by experienced Tribal Emergency Managers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, in conjunction with partner emergency managers.  Students can apply all of the certificate courses to an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management if they choose to continue their education.
