How can I watch the commencement ceremony online?
The 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live on YouTube.

What is the timeline for this event?
- 2:30 p.m. - Doors open and graduate line up begins
- 3:30 p.m. - Processional and ceremony begins
When can I pick up my cap and gown?
Beginning Wednesday, June 4 graduation regalia (cap and gown) may be picked up at either the Puyallup or Fort Steilacoom bookstore.
How much do a cap and gown cost?
These items are free to the student.
I did not order a cap and gown, can I still get them?
Online ordering is now closed. Several extras were ordered for those that did not pre-order. Please see the bookstore for extras beginning June 4.
Can someone else pick up my cap and gown for me?
Yes. Please provide them with an email from you stating that they have your permission to pick up your items. They will be asked to show ID.
I did not apply for graduation; can I still walk in the ceremony?
Yes, you can still walk in the ceremony. However, the deadline may have passed to have your name printed in the program. You must also still apply for graduation in order to have your transcripts evaluated and receive a diploma.
How many tickets can I get for this event?
Tickets are not required for this event.
What if I have a guest traveling from out of the country who needs an invitational letter?
Please contact Evaluations@pierce.ctc.edu.
Will my diploma be mailed or do I need to pick it up?
Your diploma will be mailed to the address on file with Records and Registration. Make sure we have the correct address!
Are there any costs associated with receiving my diploma?
No.
How long will it take before I receive my diploma?
It will be approximately 6 to 8 weeks before you will receive your diploma in the mail.
When will I receive my graduation photos?
You will be contacted via email and/or mail by GRADIMAGES in approximately 2 to 4 weeks, based on the information you provided on your name card during graduation ceremonies. Pierce College is not responsible for photos. Visit the GradImages website for more information.
